One of the favourite pasta which everyone adores. This Carbonara Pasta really does make someone's mouth watery right now.

Carbonara Pasta is one of the famous pasta in the world. With it's creamy sauce that drives every crazy for more. Here in The Junk Restaurant, this Carbonara Pasta is served with fettuccine pasta. Usually other restaurant prefer using spaghetti pasta but originally Carbonara Pasta is served with fettuccine pasta which taste better. But this is not your ordinary Carbonara Pasta, the sauce is very thick and creamy added with mushroom and massive amount of sliced bacon with grated parmesan cheese. This portion is enough to fill in someone's belly with a smile.

All time favourite dish anytime, anywhere. It would absolutely make you lick your plate clean.

The Sirloin is seasoned with salt and pepper before hitting on the grill. At The Junk Restaurant, we can request for well done or medium rare sirloin depends on the customer. The small pennant or flag on top of the sirloin shows either it is cooked well done or medium rare. With this, the tender grilled sirloin steak is served with mushroom sauce with buttery mashed potato and a salad made from cucumber, red cabbage and bean sprouts with lemon dressing. Tender juicy makes it worth the taste.

The only place that serves Four Cheese Pizza is located at The Junk. You won't get enough with one single bite.

Thin crust pizza made freshly on the spot. This pizza is not your ordinary everyday pizza. This pizza is served with four types of cheese as the topping such as Blue Cheese, Mozzarella Cheese etc. Very gooey once pulled and crunchy once bitten. Not stingy in spreading cheese, giving extra pleasure while eating.

All around in Kuching, The Junk Restaurant serves the best Bruschetta I have ever tasted. It would surely make you scrape the plate clean.

Bruschetta are usually served as appetiser or a light snack. It's really easy to make without much time consuming. Bruschetta is an italian style toasted French Loaf sliced and tops with cherry tomatoes mixed with salt and paper, drizzled with olive oil and garnish with parmesan cheese. Giving you amazing taste of crunchy and juicy texture.

The Junk Restaurant

The Junk Restaurant

The Junk Restaurant is one of the must visit places in Kuching for a fine dining experience that you'd never have located in a heritage Chinese shop lot at Wayang Street.

Owner George Ling and wife Roselyn Ling manage to expand their restaurant into 3 different types of cooking style restaurant; which is The Junk, Bla Bla Bla and The Living Room all located nearby. The Junk serves Italian inspired cooking, while Bla Bla Bla serves Chinese Fusion and at the other hand, The Living Room serves both styles of cooking.

Each restaurant has it's unique interior design. From the outside view, these restaurant looks very small but once you enter the restaurant, it's actually a long 2 storey hallway restaurant. Each restaurant is decorated with different theme; both very relaxing and stunning. The interior is so stunning that words couldn't fully explain its beauty.

These restaurant is usually fully pack with customers so it's easier if you'd made your reservation early. The price rate is quite expensive but worth the price as the portions are big. The Junk Restaurant isn't just a bistro restaurant, these three restaurant is also a great spot to lounge around. They have such cosy lounging room in The Junk called Red Room and White Room.

They even have a bar at the end of The Junk's hallway. In The Living Room, the eating area has a unique blend of Asian designs such as hut where customer can eat without sitting on a chair like the Japanese/Malay style. The restaurant is quite big that they have secret passages to certain rooms, exploring like a maze.
